Rotarian

General David Poythress will inform us about the Aviation Museum and Discovery Center located in Marietta, GA.  General Poythress has been a visitor to our club on a few occasions as a visiting Rotarian.  Please see his Bio attached.

Our very own Scott LeCraw will be our speaker this week.  The topic will be one of great interest to club members and we encourage all available members to attend and ask lots of questions at the end.

Matt Smith, Airport Manager for the Gwinnett County Airport, otherwise known to aviators as Briscoe Field, will speak on the many changes Briscoe Field has had over the last several years and the importance the airport plays in business and economic development issues for Gwinnett County.

Dr. Mary Kay Murphy is presently serving a third term as District 3 Gwinnett County School Board Representative.  Dr. Murphy also serves as the Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Morehouse School of Medicine.  In 2008, she was also named in the Top Ten Most Influential Women in Gwinnett County.

Randy Travis, I-Team Investigator for FOX 5 News, will talk about the in's and out's of being an investigative reporter in the TV News business.  His anectodal episodes of experiences while doing his job will keep you entertained as well as engaged.

Dan Kaufman, President of Georgia Gwinnett College, will discuss the latest status of the four year institution.

Susie Ryan - Director of Fund Development - Gwinnett Children's Shelter will discuss the current state of the Children's Shelter and its programs.

Gould Hagler is Executive Director of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia.  His talk will address the question:  "Insurance and Government Regulation:  Does Free Enterprise Work?

David Post will discuss a program which gives money and provides other support to the families of law enforcement officers in the State of Georgia who are killed in the line of duty.
