Residents still urged to conserve water
Most of North Georgia continues to suffer from extreme drought conditions due to a significant rainfall deficit since 2007, so Gwinnett County has imposed outdoor watering restrictions to help conserve water. These restrictions were made identical to the state's rules effective May 1, 2008. Although the state relaxed its watering rules earlier this year, it remains important for all Gwinnett residents to use water wisely and help conserve our precious water resource.
