SGRC Board Meetings every third Thursday of the month.

Dr. Mary Kay Murphy is presently serving a third term as District 3 Gwinnett County School Board Representative.  Dr. Murphy also serves as the Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Morehouse School of Medicine.  In 2008, she was also named in the Top Ten Most Influential Women in Gwinnett County.

Our very own Scott LeCraw will be our speaker this week.  The topic will be one of great interest to club members and we encourage all available members to attend and ask lots of questions at the end.

General David Poythress will inform us about the Aviation Museum and Discovery Center located in Marietta, GA.  General Poythress has been a visitor to our club on a few occasions as a visiting Rotarian.  Please see his Bio attached.

Peter White is the Founder and President of The Southern Center for International Studies located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.  The Center is a non-profit, educational institution dedicated to internationalizing the thinking of Americans.  See attached Bio.

Matt Smith, Airport Manager for the Gwinnett County Airport, otherwise known to aviators as Briscoe Field, will speak on the many changes Briscoe Field has had over the last several years and the importance the airport plays in business and economic development issues for Gwinnett County.
